Santosha Cattery was established over 30 years ago by Susan & David Crossley, who are still owners and actively engaged in the business. We started small; with only indoor pens - considered large at the time. We were one of the first in the area to introduce individual outside runs for cats.
We are breeders of pedigree British Shorthair cats (Blue & Black Tipped) and this experience stands us in good stead in the running of the cattery.

We are better known for our world famous, multiple award winning Santosha Shih Tzu dogs. We have been breeding them for over 30 years and have many Champions, including several Bests of Breed at Crufts. We are both international Championship show judges, having officiated as far afield as Australia. Susan judged at Crufts in 1998 and David in 2004 - a rare double honour.
Cat Chalet Our cattery is used by the RSPCA to supplement their facilities and we count several veterinary surgeons among our customers. We operate a policy of continuous improvement in the cattery. 2006 saw 15 new state of the art pens opened and ongoing landscaping work. We are open to cats every day of the year, however, we are closed to people on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
