Just found it and joined, you can add pics of your dogs and they get their own e-mail (least I think they do) you can do a diary for them and get doggie pals. And you can send bones to other dogs.

You gonna join, I am having fun going through them all and looking at the shih tzu, some don't even look like them as well.

i tried to do a search for Shih Tzus but it wouldn't let me, I'm no good at writing a diary, yours is very witty and cleverly written, I might registar and have a fiddle.

Well, you have fantastic taste when it comes to doggy names

Buddy and Molly are not related. Buddy is 2 years old and he is the first dog I have ever owned. I had a really long wait for Molly. Her and Cookie are best of pals. Lucky for me Molly does not share the same tastes as Cookie when snacking!!!

Is Cookie a very different temprement to Buddy and Molly?

Molly, Buddy and Cookie are all very loving dogs. American Cocker Spaniels are very eager to please, I don't know about other types of spaniels. Buddy and Molly very rarely bark. Something would have to be majorly wrong for Buddy to bark. We never heard him bark until he was a year old and we moved house, next door has a bordie collie and Buds thought he was coming under the fence!!

I have found Buddy and Molly easier to train. I haven't had Molly long but she is learning things very very quickly. Buddy and Molly are far more mellow than Cookie. Cookie can be a bit hyper at times but she is still a baby really. She has several crazy moments a day when she just goes barmy. She is very amusing and makes me laugh a lot. Cookie is incredibly sweet, she loves cuddles and will cuddle for longer than the other 2. Other than her bad habit she is wonderful. All 3 of them are wonderful and gentle with my 3 children.

Aha that'll be the Shih Tzu mad 5 minutes, 6 laps of the house then collapse in a heap.

Even more fun when you've just bathed them, Hypo or what??

Wow Abbey I thought my House was bad enough, we used to have 3 dogs but it's hard work, I admire you greatly

We have me and Hubby, 2 kids, 1 dog, 2 cats, 2 rats, 2 Albino African clawed frogs who are massive now!! and 3 Goldfish and a big hairy spider in the bathroom but not for long

OMG you are so funny!!! Sounds like you have your hands full too. I am a stay at home mum and 2 of my children are at school so it's not so bad (they are aged 7,5 and 16 months). I must say though I find Buddy and Molly really easy, Cookie has her moments but really it is just the poo eating I can't cope with. One of my cats is a real scrounger and I have to watch him as he will steal food...his favourite being cakes and he will wait for me to get home from Tescos, while I am unloading the car he is ripping apart bags and packets to get at the food!!! The other cat follows me when I take the dogs out for a walk...I swear I am going to have to get him a lead and take him with me. Last week he nearly got run over 4 times right in front of me, I was screaming at the side of the road as cars whizzed by and he was trying to cross over to join us. Luckily a few drivers noticed me doing a jig at the side of the road and let me cross to rescue him!!!

So Abbey, are there any cat training classes in your area???!!!

Abbey your house sounds so like ours, my kids are 7 and nearly 5 and our cat follows us when we go out walking the dog as well, I was a stay at home mum but now my daughter has started school I have started working at the school as a dinner lady or lunchtime assistant to give it it's official title it's nice to see someone else in the same boat or should I say mad house!!

Awww your children are gorgeous. I love your website. Oscar is super cute. Here are photos of my little horrors. In the photo of the 3 girls the one in the middle is NOT mine she is my youngest daughter Daisys school friend. The little tiny one on the end is Daisy and she is a week older than the girl in the middle. Megan (my 7 year old) is also very petite for her age. My Son, Alfie, in the photo below is a little elephant. He was 2 weeks early and weighed 8lb 14oz!!! Lucky I had a c-section

Isn't she a lovely colour, that's one of the interesting things about Shih Tzus the variety of colours

Cookie was from a litter of 5. The other 4 were boys and 2 were black and 2 were brown and white. Mum was black and Dad was gold.

I have just tried to take some more photos but Cookie won't stay still I need to get another camera as my flash takes forever to go off. All the photos on my dogster pages took ages to get

What a cutie Cookie is she looks adorable.

And the photo of your kids, I couldn't beleive it when you said your smallest is a week older than the little girl in the middle, she must be tiny.

Mind you when my daughter was small she was smallest in her class and everyone wanted to pick her up all the time, I kept saying put her down she isn't a doll.

She is now 11 and almost the same size as her older brother who is 13. Must dig out a photo and put it up on here.

Your website is excellent. I used to collect Tatty Teds aswell!!!! I recently sold them off on ebay though as I had run out of room as I started collecting Disney snowglobes. Have you ever been to one of the me to you events? I went to the first event in Derby....was lucky enough to get the sweet treat figurine (we actually got 2 as my hubby came) and queued for hours to get it signed by Mike Payne....then that evening back at the hotel he was sitting next to us at the bar!!!

Also love Lynda La Plante although I haven't read her books just watched the programmes. I have read a few Virginia Andrews books, it was a while back now, O I can't really remember what they were called I am sure it was a trilogy...maybe one was called "Heaven"??? Have to dig them out of the loft and see.

Yes, my daughter Daisy is a tiny little thing (Alfie is heavier than her) and her and Cookie are very similar....both VERY stubborn LOL. The children at school did want to cuddle Daisy and look after her at first, until they found out that she is more than capable of looking after herself.

I would love to see photos of your children. I read your website and I am not surprised that you cried when your daughter started big school. I am already dreading the day when Megan goes

OMG Abby how could you sell your "tatties" No I have never been to one of the event, I keep getting the newsletter but they are too far away and seeing as though I don't drive it makes it all the more difficult. I am running out of room too but if they keep fetching them out I keep buying them, oooo and xmas is soon here I can get my tatty xmas stocking out again, already bought my tatty advent calendar and tatty calendar for next year. Keep saying I much make a record of every tatty item I own, just never get round to it.

P.S. How do you send another dog a rosette on dogster?

Umm the Tatty selling was much needed. I had collected every single one until last year. I just thought it was getting a bit crazy as I have noticed the tattys are getting more pricey with each new set they release. We bought a house last year (actually moved in 1 week before my son was born) and it needs a lot of work. The whole house needs doubleglazing and it has 2 big bay windows at the front. I have had several quotes and the best has been £7000 just for those bay windows Needless to say they haven't been done yet, we are doing the house in stages.

Some of the Tatties sold for an awful lot of money you know, I actually got £300 for one about 2 years ago (I think it was called First bloom, the first in that trilogy). At the time I was still collecting but saw they were selling for a fortune and just decided to sell it.

I do still have some Tattys that my daughters bought me for christmas and birthdays and I still have a few plushies. Have you ever seen the brown Tatty teds that were made in Belgium? I bought one through ebay and they are like the grey bears but with tatty brown fur, I suppose a cross between the grey and the original brown bear they made

On Dogster the only people that can give rosettes are the people that pay to have the Dogsterplus account. I haven't got it but emailed the person who awarded Cookie a rosette to ask how she did it.

I do know the tatty you mean, I missed those and that breakfast in bed I was gutted, made sure I got bed of roses though. I promise I will make a list of each one I have one day, but yes your right they are getting more expensive, think its these people thats going around buying 2 or 3 of each and sticking them on ebay thats made the prices go up. I love the new winter days collection, will have to tell my mum and see if i can persuade her it'll make a lovely xmas pressie for me (mind you she is buying me a new cordless digital phone set for the house as one I have is naff). I have last years christmas days so only fair I get this years as well, lol.

That photo is of my two girls and Taffie on the day we bought him home As Caz knows, I'm usually the one holding the camera as in this photo . That is my favorite photo of the 3 of them! The bond between them was there from the start
