I came across this a few days ago and it looks to be really very useful. It lets you look at budget airline fares over a whole month so you can pick the best times to fly. It only works for Europe for the budget airlines but there is a section for searching worldwide flights too.

Actually I have no idea if I would like flying or not because in this day and age yours truly has never flown!!! Agghhh!!! I'm from out of the dark ages.
There was the one memorable, for all the wrong reasons, occasion three years or more ago, when Eddie and I booked a flight to visit our son and daughter in law in Seattle. Three weeks before we were due to fly the great sword of Damaclese fell on our houshold when Eddie became ill and had to have a, rather serious, emergency op. And so it has been shelved - being superstitious I am hesitant to try again.
